Clubs, coaches and agents all see the game through their own lens. We created Ftballer to give football families something different — independent insight, honest answers, and a clearer view of what's genuinely right for the player.
To Help Every Player Find Their Right Path
Football doesn't come with a roadmap. Players develop differently, ambitions change, and the right next step isn't always obvious.
Our mission is to give you the clarity, confidence and independent guidance to understand where you are, where you could go and what your next move should be.
These aren't marketing statements. They're the principles behind every assessment, conversation and recommendation we make.
Your interests come first. No club quotas. No agent commissions. No pathway we're paid to recommend. Our advice starts and ends with what's right for you.
Progress matters more than prestige. The biggest badge isn't always the best environment. We look beyond status to understand where you are most likely to play, develop and progress.
Your future is bigger than football. Football ambition and education shouldn't have to compete. We consider both because the decisions you make now can shape opportunities long after the final whistle.
We'll tell you what you need to know. Not every assessment will confirm what you hoped. Not every opportunity is worth pursuing. Honest guidance is more valuable than comfortable reassurance.
There is no one-size-fits-all pathway. Your ability. Your ambitions. Your personality. Your education. Your circumstances. Your future. Every decision starts with understanding you.

Lee Rogers
Founder, Ftballer
Lee Rogers is the founder of Ftballer and the driving force behind its Pathway Intelligence approach. But the idea behind Ftballer started long before the business did.
Lee has experienced many of the pathways young players are trying to navigate today.
Academy football and release. Non-league and semi-professional football. Education. Moving thousands of miles from home to pursue a soccer and academic scholarship in the United States. Studying and playing at SUNY Cortland in New York before transferring to Lees-McRae College in North Carolina.
Football has taken him around the world and given him experiences, relationships and opportunities that have shaped his life far beyond the pitch.
For more than 25 years, that experience has continued through coaching across three continents, player development, and working with young players and families trying to answer some of football's hardest questions: Where am I really? What are my options? And what should I do next? That's where Lee's passion for Ftballer comes from.
He believes young players should dream big and experience the very best opportunities football can offer — but that the biggest decisions should be made with eyes open, not fingers crossed.
A decision about an academy, university, scholarship, club or move abroad can affect far more than football. It can shape a player's education, development, confidence, finances, experiences and future — and have a significant impact on the whole family. Families deserve as much quality information as possible before making those decisions. That's the foundation of Ftballer.
Not a system designed to push players towards one particular destination. Instead, Ftballer starts with the player — understanding their ability, ambitions, education, circumstances and goals before looking honestly at where different pathways could lead.
Football can take you to some incredible places. The important thing is choosing the right path to get there.
"There will never be a crystal ball in football. Anyone who tells you otherwise probably has something to sell."
— Lee Rogers, Founder
Ftballer wasn't created from a theory about how football pathways should work. It grew from experiencing the system, working within it, and seeing the decisions families are repeatedly asked to make without enough independent information.
Built in football. Shaped by experience. Designed for the decisions families face today.
Our independence only matters if you can trust what we do with it. So our promise is simple.
We won't recommend America because we can help place you there. We won't recommend an academy because the badge looks impressive. We won't recommend staying somewhere because it's the safest answer. And we won't tell you what you want to hear simply to win your business.
We'll tell you what we genuinely believe is right for you — and we'll show you why.
Because we're not here to sell you a pathway. We're here to help you choose one.
We have no affiliation with any club, academy, agent, or scout network. Our independence is the structural reality of how Ftballer is built.
We are paid by families, answerable to families, and evaluated by families. There is no other constituency.
We do not tell families what they want to hear. We tell them what the evidence and the reality of their situation actually indicates.
You don't need another opinion. You need to understand where you stand, what your realistic options are, and which decisions could give you the strongest future — in football, education and beyond.
Know where you are. Understand what's possible. Decide what comes next.
Independent. Evidence-based. Built around you.
